Hello, my name is Kenzie and Frequenzie is my brain child. I've been a part of the music and sonic world most my life; my relationship with sound is always evolving, and I've found myself to be quite the audiophile.

I started young, classically trained in piano, theory, and voice for 13 years and participated in choirs, bands, and many other productions. I began writing music in my teens - mostly pop/ballad style singing where I'd accompany myself on the piano. I loved performing; it became my leading motivator for creating and learning more.

In my early 20's became fascinated with more modern music. The concept of electronically simulated instruments and their production was so exciting, yet so foreign to me. That curiosity drove me to pursue a degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University, with which I graduated in May of 2021. The formal education enabled me to combine the technical aspect of sound with the theoretical aspect of music and apply both elements to my passion all together.

To my surprise, I had aptitude for sound design, where I'd edit audio for projects other than music, (eg. video games, film projects, sound effects, radio ads, podcasts, etc...). There's a wide array of audio related skills that I have found a passion for, whether it have a rhythm attached to it or not.

Currently, I work as a private contractor in my free time as an interning audio engineer, where I tune and optimize a point source sound system, route and run a mix board for live music, and set up and tare down equipment. I also freelance in private studio time where I instruct/give advice on production and mix down their work. And when I have time, I produce and write my own music. All these roles sum up to Frequenzie.

As I plunge forward into this career revolved around sound, I hope to maintain relationships with my clients while I work as a sound designer and engineer. I want to work for a company that allows me to enhance my sound designing skills, challenges me to improve my detail to hearing, and learn from the professionals themselves. I love audio because it's an endless opportunity to learn more - I'll never know it all, and I'll never get tired of it.
